Services
Hardware, end to end.
Evelix is a hardware engineering consultancy. We work across the whole stack, from a blank schematic to boards coming off a production line.
PCB & schematic design
Custom circuit boards, from low-power sensor nodes to high-voltage power electronics, with manufacturing files ready for the fab.
Embedded firmware
Microcontroller firmware, wireless connectivity, and low-power design. Plenty of ESP32 and bare-metal work.
Sensing & signal conditioning
Custom analogue front-ends, sensor selection, and the bench testing to prove a measurement actually holds up.
Mechanical & integration
Enclosures, busbars, and laser-cut parts. The mechanical design that makes the electronics fit together.
Product development
End-to-end builds combining hardware, firmware, and software, taken from concept to a working product.
Research & proof of concept
Feasibility studies and prototypes to find out whether an idea holds up before you commit to it.
Selected work
A few things we have built.
Battery management & energy storage
A multi-board battery management and power-distribution system for an energy-storage product: cell-monitoring electronics, custom busbars, laser-cut hardware, and the firmware to tie it together.
High-voltage power electronics
A high-voltage system built across several board revisions, including busbars, capture plates, and LED control, coordinated through to manufacture.
Wearable sensing R&D
A feasibility study for a wearable sensing device. Five sensing methods evaluated, custom front-ends designed, firmware prototyped, and real-world viability tested.
Connected event systems
An RFID and NFC kiosk system for a multi-day festival, with networked readers, a live dashboard, and a backend service running the whole installation.
